I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU DON’T SHARE MY OPINIONS!”  Just thought I’d clear that up for you :) If you’re not a vegan, you wouldn’t know what responses we get. I personally get the, “OMFG THAT’S SO UNNATURAL. YOU’RE SO UNHEALTHY. YOU ANEMIC PIECE OF SHIT. IF YOU SAY MEAT IS MURDER I HATE YOU. WOW THIS BURGER IS SO GOOD YOU COULD HAVE IT IF YOU WEREN’T VEGAN. OH YEAH I FORGOT WE HAVE MISS VEGAN OVER HERE. DON’T JUDGE ME WHEN I EAT MY CHICKEN.” Meanwhile, I NEVER bring up veganism when I go out to eat. People don’t even know that I am a vegan until we go out somewhere and I only get a salad and they ask me why I don’t order anything else. Then they complain because I don’t want to eat that nasty shit omnivores call food. Just thought I’d clear that up for you(: Actually, when I tell people (or other people tell people) that I’m vegan when the conversation is about food, I get: “Oh but don’t you just want a burger?” “Oh, I think you could use some meat.” “I love meat so much” “Doesn’t that cow over there look like it’d make a great burger” “Yum, I love eating dead animals” “You can’t be vegan, don’t you eat another type of meat?” And the best one” Oh okay, just don’t force me to be vegan” when i was never planning on it.
